4Gods is a one of a kind experience where players play without taking turn. Where you'll be placing tile while looking at your opponents move in a not so disorganized as it seems frenetic manner. #FamilyNight #Competitive

Long Story Long
The game as such
In 4 Gods you'll be playing against between 1 to 3 opponents. You'll all be placing tiles with different types of terrain on them in a well framed empty square.
To do so you'll need to abide by a set of simple rules. Rules for tile placement are basicly continuity of terrain - you can't place a lake border against a forest border -
and continuity of borders, each til you place need to have at least 2 borders in common with either the frame or other already placed tiles.
You'll also need to recall the rules about drafting new tiles through the whole game, when can you draft ?, where from ? and how to draft ?
Those make the more dynamic set of rule of the game and will be the one you'll be focused on during your first games, in order not to violate any of them by mistake.
One gimmic you'll have to force on your self to win is not to play only in your corner, which is a natural tendancy you may have as you and your adversary will most likely be spread on the boarder of the frame - as if everyone of you owned its size of it, bu you don't !.
Strategy
On top of those basic playing rules, you'll need to chose which God you'll impersonate, which will define the way you'll be scoring points at the end of the game.
The trick is to choose wisely when such impertionation should take place as there is no coming back.
Choosing too soon will have a big influence on the manner your adversaries will play there tiles.
Choosing later gives you more certainty about the amount of point that God is worth by looking at the board and at the way forest, oceans, mountains and plains are drawing on the map, but your adversary might notice it just before you.
Advantages - Downsizes
Definitevly one of a kind boardgame where everybody plays together, with low set up and down type. And super easy to learn.
Lack of control and lack of time to pause and think might botter players, aspecialy unexperienced one, though that game is light and would better be played with your family than with your gamer friends.
Enjoyabe player-player interaction. The mostly positive interaction and the dynamic timely-constraint let no place for waiting or boredom. You are always doing something, either rolling dice to stop your adversary from refueling or playing your own turn.
Long story Short
After reading the rule book I was quite dazed and had only two thoughts :"How do you explain to fellow player that there is no turn and everybody will play at the same time ?" and "How do you control it ?".
The explaination part is quite easy, the controlpart is impossible. If you are not the trusting type or your friends are not trust worthy, this game is definitly not for you.
